High Five Media "Cologne"
For this very silly project, we thought it would be fun to do an almost shot-for-shot recreation (within the confines of 30 seconds) of one of the Charles Bronson “Mandom” cologne commercials from 1976. My responsibilities in this project included:
Being on set for VFX supervision, as well as some lighting and gaff work.
Writing and recording a parody version of the song “All the World Loves a Lover”
Sole editor and VFX artist.
The editing and sound design work took on an almost Tim & Eric absurdity, which is one of my favorite styles to work in.
Fun fact, the wide shots in the “penthouse” were filmed entirely on green screen, and made use of an AI-generated background.
